How to Set Up OysterVPN on Huawei Router?

This tutorial will show you how to use the PPTP Protocol to connect Huawei Router to OysterVPN. You'll need a Huawei Router and an active OysterVPN subscription to get started with the setup process. If you don't already have a subscription, click here to subscribe.

1. To access your router's Web Configuration Panel, open a web browser and type 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.8.1 into the address bar. (Unless you've modified it previously, this is the default IP address for accessing the router.)
2. It will ask you for the Username and Password for your router.
3. Log in with that information.
4. You can locate the username and password at the bottom of a router.
5. After logging into the router successfully, follow these steps to set up OysterVPN using the L2TP protocol.

• LNS Address: Your desired L2TP VPN server address. In this case, enter the Hong Kong server IP address here. Please click here

• Hostname: OysterVPN (or whatever name you want for your VPN connection).
• Tunnel password: psk123
• Hello Interval (seconds): 60
• PPP Username: Your OysterVPN Username
• PPP Password: Your OysterVPN Password
• Connection Mode: Auto
• Click on “Save” (OR “Apply“)

6. That's it! You've completed the installation and configuration of OysterVPN on Huawei Router using PPTP protocol.
