OysterVPN users are not restricted in speed, bandwidth, or data. However, you should be aware that using a VPN may result in slower speeds and response times (ping) when compared to not using one. In addition, the speed rate may drop by 20%-25% although this is not a definite percentage and could be lower.
However, there may be times when using a VPN will help you improve your connection speed. For example, if your internet provider restricts your speed (ISP throttling), this could happen.
