2. Double-click on theRAS Phonebook icon.

3. A prompt/window will open. Click on thedrop-down arrowto reveal the server list.

4. Choose the serveryou want. There are options for different locations around the world.

5. Click on the “Connect” button.

6. A new prompt/window will appear.Enter your OysterVPN credentialsto proceed. You can also check the box to save your login info for next time.
7. Click on “Connect“. The RAS Phonebook prompt will now disappear.

How to Fix Error 87 of the RAS Phonebook Dialer to Connect to VPN:

1. In thesearch barnext to the Windows Start button, type “cmd“.
2. On the panel to the right, click on “Run as Administrator“.
3. A command window will open up.
4. Copy and paste the following command.

5. PressEnter. Then restart your computer.
6. Once your computer has finished restarting, type “Device Manager” on the search bar next to the Windows logo.
7. Click on “Device Manager” in the results.
8. Click on the arrow next to “Network Adapters” to expand the list.
9. Find theWAN Miniport items(there will be several) and right-click on the first one e.g.WAN Miniport (IKEv2).
10. From the menu, click on “Uninstall Device“.
11. Followsteps 9-10for every WAN Miniport item (IKEv2, IP, IPv6, etc) and uninstall them.
12. On the top left-hand corner of the window will be the “Action” button. Click on it and choose Scan for Hardware Changes from the menu.
13. This will make all the WAN Miniport items reappear.Check to confirm.

15. Now connect to OysterVPN using the RAS Phonebook Dialer again. The Error 87 will have been resolved.
